Memorial day laptop sales 2021: early deals already here at Dell, HP, and more

Each day we're edging closer and closer to the yearly Memorial Day laptop sales, and, even though we're still a few weeks off, there are already great discounts to check out a number of leading retailers.

Both HP and Dell especially have been festooning their site with a myriad of excellent 'Spring sales', yielding some great choices for all budgets. If you're interested in bagging an early bird deal in the Memorial Day laptop sales then we've included the best ones we've found so far just down below.

There's a ton of great options today, but so far our top picks have to be this Dell Inspiron 15 for $589.99 (was $709.99) and this Asus M515UA for $629.99. While not the cheapest Memorial Day laptop sales on our list, both machines are managing to pack in some very powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processors and 512GB SSDs for exceptionally competitive prices. 

If you're looking for something cheaper, however, then check out this HP 15z for $319.99 (was $369.99). A combination of an AMD Athlon processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB SSD make this a fully-fledged Windows laptop suitable for a range of tasks at a bargain price - much more so than most cheap Chromebooks.

HP 15z laptop: $369.99 $319.99 at HP
Save $50 - If you're looking for a fully-fledged laptop that doesn't break the bank, then definitely consider this HP 15z. Inside it's got an AMD Athlon Gold processor, 8GB of RAM, plus a 128GB SSD, which aren't show-stopping specs by any stretch of the imagination, but they will definitely get the job done for most work and casual applications.

Dell Inspiron 15 3000 laptop: $459.99 $359.99 at Dell
Save $100 - For the price, this Dell Inspiron 15 is really good value thanks to its 256GB SSD - a much more spacious drive than you normally see on most cheap laptop deals. And, on top of that, the AMD Ryzen 3 processor and 8GB of RAM are also really great specs for a wide range of tasks too.

HP 14T laptop: $579 $449.99 at HP
Save $140 - With a 256GB SSD, 11th gen Intel Core i3 processor, and 8GB of RAM,  this 14-inch HP laptop is packing in some really up-to-date specs that are perfect for a range of casual and work applications. A 14-inch form factor is perfect too if you're looking for something that's not too big, but not too small either.

Dell Inspiron 15 3000 laptop: $709.99 $589.99 at Dell
Save $120 - The AMD Ryzen 7-3700U processor in this Dell Inspiron might be a little older, but it's easily more powerful than the usual Core i5's and i3's you often see at this price point. This machine also has 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD ensuring you've got plenty of space on those drives for a multitude of applications.

Asus M515UA 15.6-inch laptop: $629.99 at Newegg
This 15.6-inch Asus isn't the flashiest laptop sale on our list, but it might just be the most up-to-date - and powerful for that matter. Not only has this solid machine got 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, but it's also packing in an AMD Ryzen 7-5700U. That's a very powerful processor indeed, and one of the latest on the market in fact.

Asus TUF F15 gaming laptop: $799 $699 at Microsoft
Save $100 - Here's a gaming laptop courtesy of Microsoft that'll get you some decent performance and come well under budget too. With a 512GB SSD, Intel Core i5-10300H, GTX 1650 graphics card, and 8GB of RAM, this one's got a little bit more space on those drives than you normally get with more budget gaming laptops.

New Dell XPS 13 Touch: $1,699.99 $949.99 at Dell
Save $750 - Dell's latest laptop sales have yielded what has to be one of the best discounts we've ever seen on the gorgeous Dell XPS 13. This particular deal is on the new touchscreen 4k display model, which also features a 10th gen Intel Core  i7-1065G7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. These are some eye-watering specs, and of course this machine just looks absolutely stunning too.
